I met Marika 10 years ago while doing volunteer work and soon after was re-financing out of an interest only loan to a fixed rate loan where Marika got us into a great rate with an FHA loan! Marika was incredible. No doubt about it. Though I'm sure each mortgage brings its own complexity, we were moving across the country and our loan was dependent on future income as well as a variety of debt clearance. Marika helped us every step of the way, working around our complicated schedules and fighting on our behalf on a daily basis. Our underwriters were requesting an enormous amount of documentation, even ON the day our house closed, and she tirelessly advocated for us.

In addition to her considerable skill, tact, and knowledge, Marika is kind, funny, and caring. Again, at least for us, our loan required a sort of "financial therapy," of sorts, that she casually provided. I deeply enjoyed talking to her. We haven't found a space in our schedules yet to meet up, but I'm really looking forward to seeing her in person and giving her a big hug of thanks.
